Volunteer for Brilliant Fitzgerald's Juneteenth Celebration!

Juneteenth marks one of our country’s independence day celebrations. Although it has long been celebrated in the African American community, this monumental event remains largely unknown to most Americans.

The historical legacy of Juneteenth shows the value of never giving up hope in uncertain times. A space where the community spirit of hope lives on. A space for families to gather, learn together and be educated, and share stories of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Volunteers are needed to help provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for community participants, set-up program stations, manage activities, distribute food and more. Volunteer shifts include: 8:30 am-10:30 am, 9:30 am-11:30 am, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, 12 pm - 2 pm, 1 pm-3 pm, 2 pm-4 pm, 3 pm-5 pm, 4 pm-6 pm.
