Volunteer Event: Palmer Park Spring Clean Up

Join us for a clean up at Palmer Park meadow where we will be picking up trash to beautify the area for spring. We will have plenty of trash bags but if possible, please bring your own work gloves.

Palmer Park is part of the Detroit Bird City project to create community greenspace with meadow habitat that benefits birds and pollinators.

We planted the first Palmer Park meadow in 2020 with two acres of native flowers and grasses at the North end of the park. The meadow has been blooming beautifully since 2023. Now we are planting another nine acres around other sections of Palmer Park!

There will not be bathrooms available.
