Volunteer Earth Day Event Help – Saturday, April 19th

Be part of our Earth Day celebration at the zoo as we honor our planet! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of activities during this special event. Your involvement will contribute to celebrating nature, educating visitors, and promoting environmental responsibility.

Here’s the volunteer schedule:

Event Setup (Friday Before 4/18): 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Help us prepare for the big day by setting up booths, decorations, and other materials.

Earth Day Setup: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Join us early to finalize the setup before the event begins.

Welcome Booth Shift 1: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Assist guests by providing information about exhibits, activities, and Earth Day initiatives.

Butterfly Release Assistance: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Help facilitate the butterfly release, a highlight of our Earth Day celebration!

Welcome Booth Shift 2: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Continue engaging with visitors and share knowledge about conservation efforts.

Welcome Booth Shift 3: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Keep the information flowing and welcome more visitors to our Earth Day festivities.

Cleanup: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Help clean up and put away materials, leaving the zoo looking great for future guests.
