Come join us in person for some awesome Volunteer Days at Dream of Detroit! It's a great chance to meet new people, make a real impact, and have fun while giving back. Whether you're rolling up your sleeves for a community project or helping out around the space, your time and energy will make a big difference. For Volunteer Clean-Up days, volunteers will help beautify our community by removing litter, clearing debris, and improving shared public spaces throughout the neighborhood. These efforts contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.
No experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided. Save these dates 6/25, 7/14, 8/15, 9/12, 10/17. Meeting times are 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
For Volunteer Canvassing, volunteers will walk through the neighborhood, connect with residents, share information about upcoming programs and events, and listen to community needs and ideas. Canvassing is one of the most important ways we build relationships, strengthen community engagement, and ensure our neighbors are informed about opportunities to get involved.
No prior experience is needed. Training, materials, and support will be provided. Save these dates 6/23, 7/28, 8/29, 9/26, 10/18. Meeting times are 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
