Friends of Lake Park Clean-Up Day
June 20th, 8:30-10:30 AM, Lake Park
Join One Truckee River and Friends of Lake Park in beautifying our park as we get it ready for summer. We'll be raking leftover leaves and removing weeds from the perennial and rain gardens, along with the corner flower gardens. Volunteers are asked to bring their own work gloves and any garden tools they prefer to use. Come prepared for a warm, sunny day at the park.
Optional: After volunteering, join One Truckee River, City of Reno, and Humilitree for a free Watershed Education and Bio-Fertilization Workshop at 10:30!
Friends of Lake Park is a volunteer collective of community members dedicated to keeping the park safe clean and thriving. They contribute to seasonal work days of planting and cleanups . Friends of Lake Park builds community through shared connection to this beautiful outdoor space we all share.
