Volunteer at LES Ecology Center's Fall Social 2025

The Lower East Side Ecology Center's Fall Social is a celebration of all the amazing work we do! We are pioneers of people-powered programs and are proud to have carried through the same programs despite many hardships. Learn about our history here.

Want to get involved? We'd love to have some helping hands to ensure that our night runs smoothly. All volunteers will get an LES Ecology Center T-shirt, the flexibility to swap/take breaks, and free entry to the entire event!

Tasks involved, but are not limited to include:

• Setting up and breaking down
• Food prep and serving assistance
• Waste station maintenance, including washing dishes
• Clearing tables as needed
• Checking in guests

Physical work: People of all abilities are welcome to volunteer with the LES Ecology Center. There may be heavy lifting involved in this volunteer opportunity, but volunteers are invited to help as much as they are able to. We're able to make accommodations for those that need it.

The LES Ecology Center (Ecology Center) has pioneered community-based models in urban sustainability since 1987. We provide unique e-waste and composting services, environmental stewardship opportunities, and educational programming to all New Yorkers who want to learn about environmental issues and take responsibility for creating solutions through action.
