Kroz protok pokreta i daha budimo zvučne vibracije u tijelu.
Tijekom radionice prolazit ćemo kroz različite kreativne procese i tehnike glasovnog oslobađanja, a završit ćemo kreativnom i tjelesnom integracijom cijelog iskustva. Proces započinje i završava osjećajem lakoće i radosti.

The Voice of Release
Full body, full breath, full emotion, full potential.
An embodied approach to vocal training which utilizes somatic practices and vocal technique to bring about the awareness, awakening and activation of our authentic voices. Exploration of voice as experienced through the body and the space around us. The body is our gateway to all creative sources, and from the body we begin our investigation of voice, sounding, song and words through a dynamic exploration of the origins of sound. Through a flow of movement and breath we can awaken sound vibrations within the body -resonating the bones and tissues- creating a visceral understanding of the voice and enlivening new possibilities for vocal expression.
The Voice of Release is a special approach to vocalising which focuses on the act of giving voice to one's emotions. It is a transformative process and something that we collectively lack in our contemporary structures. Part of our unique human experience is that we are able to give shape and substance to our feelings through art; transmuting our inner experiences and emotions into something that can be shared, witnessed, supported and released. To express our emotional pain through our voice is a natural process and through shared and held space, witness and support of community and the powerful act of vocalising, our feelings can become a thing of beauty that we can transform and release. We will cycle through different creative processing and vocal release techniques and conclude the process with creative and physical integration, beginning and ending with lightness and joy.

In 2021, she composed, served as music director, and performed in Gol, which explored the tradition of Irish keening (caoineadh), the lament for the dead. She also recorded her compositions for Olagón, a virtual reality lament for the land, crafting the soundscape in collaboration with Brú and the ensemble of Gol. Julianna also co-created Cráite, a solo script for a female performer that examines historical reconciliation through ‘long-form lament,’ supported by a bursary from the Abbey Theatre of Ireland. Their collaborations also include NOX, an experimental site-specific work of vocal and physical theatre inspired by Irish death laments and the women who carried this tradition, which premiered in Rijeka, Croatia.
Julianna was awarded a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to research and develop a script based on Saint Catherine of Siena. In 2022, she directed, premiered, and performed Little Thunder, a theatrical concert in collaboration with composer Katarzyna Szwed and the Warsaw Stage Society, exploring the lineage of female mystics. She holds a master’s degree with high honors from Manchester Metropolitan University, a degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and training in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, with additional study in India, Thailand, and across Europe.
