This workshop is perfect for kids who enjoy being active, creative, or are still discovering their voice. No writing or sports experience required — just a willingness to participate, move, and try something new.Event Description:
Voices of Victory is an interactive workshop designed for kids ages 8–12, combining creative writing, journaling, and sports-based activities to build confidence, focus, and teamwork. Hosted by co-parenting coach and local author Cindy J. Cadet (@bravekidpress), this experience encourages kids to develop their voice—both through storytelling and active participation.
Participants will rotate through a structured mix of guided writing prompts, team challenges, and movement-based games that promote self-expression, collaboration, and perseverance. The program is intentionally designed to keep kids engaged mentally and physically, offering a balance of creativity and activity that supports different learning styles and interests.
Each child will receive a personal journal to capture their ideas and continue writing beyond the workshop.
Workshop Overview:
This workshop follows a thoughtfully structured format that keeps older elementary and middle school–aged kids challenged, motivated, and involved. Activities are age-appropriate and goal-oriented, blending light sports challenges with reflective writing exercises. No prior writing or sports experience is required—just a willingness to participate, move, and try something new.
