Join us on Friday, October 30th at 6:30pm, where Professor of Anthropology at SUNY New Paltz, Joseph E. Diamond will speak on some of the eighty-two archaeological sites that he has researched within the Corporate Boundary of the City of Kingston.
The talk will include other notable archaeologists that have worked in Kingston such as Dr. Bert Salwen (NYU), Sarah Bridges (NYU), Dr. Leonard Eissenberg (SUNY New Paltz), Dr. Paul Huey (OPRHP), Lois Feister (OPRHP), and Joe McEvoy (OPRHP).
There will be focus on sites in Ponchhockie, as well as the Kingston Armory, the Abeel Street site, Senate House, the Persen House, the DeWitt Plot at the Old Dutch Church, and the Pine Street African Burial Ground.
