About this Event

Voices of La Villa Masquerade is a free community celebration honoring the culture, creativity, and community spirit of Clark-Fulton and Cleveland’s Latino community.

Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2–6 PM at City Life Center, 3340 Trowbridge Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44109, for an afternoon of live entertainment, art, connection, and recognition.

What to expect:

• The Lyrical Balladry Poetry Showcase, featuring Young Thomas, Jake Shelton, Marisol Ramos, Barrio Boy, and more—sharing stories, perspectives, and powerful spoken-word performances.
• Live singing and cultural dance performances celebrating the talent and traditions within our community.
• Artwork by youth and adult artists, with opportunities to explore their creativity and connect with local talent.
• Leyendas – Leaders of La Villa, a special awards ceremony recognizing over 20 leaders making a difference through education, business, arts, advocacy, and community service.
• The Opportunity for Prowess Scholarship presentation, supporting a student’s next chapter in education and career development.
• Music by DJ Latin Assassin, festive lighting, and opportunities to dance, mingle, and enjoy the masquerade atmosphere.
• Community resource tables connecting attendees with local organizations, services, and opportunities.

Whether you’re supporting an honoree, enjoying local talent, or looking to connect with your neighbors, there’s a place for you here. Bring your family, invite a friend, and help us celebrate the people who make La Villa special!

Masquerade attire and masks are encouraged but optional. Dress up or come as you are. Doors open at 2 PM, with performances beginning early in the afternoon.

Continue the celebration: Join us for an after-social at La Barra Vieja inside CentroVilla25 from 7–10 PM. Food and beverage purchases at the after-social are separate.

Hosted by Midwest Prowess LLC, Voices of La Villa brings people together to celebrate our stories, honor our leaders, and strengthen community connections.
