CALL FOR TALENT: Voices in Black History 2026 Are you an artist, dancer, musician, or orator with a story to tell? We are looking for creators to honor the past and celebrate the present at our Voices in Black History Showcase!Show us how African American history inspires your craft. Whether you’re emulating a legend or creating something entirely new, your voice belongs here. THE CATEGORIESART: Open to all mediums! Submit your piece to your local library branch to be displayed at the Juliette Hampton Morgan Library all February.DANCE: Perform a 5-7 minute piece (original or tribute) that captures the movement of history.DRAMATIC & ORATORY ARTS: 5-7 minutes of poetry, speeches, monologues, or social commentary.MUSIC: 5-7 minutes of musical genius (all genres welcome; please bring your own instruments!).
