Voice for the Ocean youth event & boat trip - Inverness

Join the Marine Conservation Society for a day of networking, learning about our ocean and making new friends... with an added bonus of a free wildlife boat trip!

This event is dedicated to you - our amazing young people - and will provide you with the opportunity to hear more about the Marine Conservation Society's work and how you can help protect our environment. You'll get the chance to join our #YouthOceanNetwork (hear from some of the current members here) and meet some young people already involved in our work.

The day will consist of talks, workshops, and networking in the venue - Spectrum Centre, Inverness. For accessibility information email [email protected].

Special guest speakers throughout the day will explore careers in conservation, their own career paths, and development opportunities for young people in the environmental sector.

The entire group will all then take a wildlife boat trip out from Inverness marina with Dolphin Spirit Inverness!

9.45am - Welcome to arrive at the Spectrum Centre

10.00am - Event start - Interactive workshops, talks, activities.

12.00pm - Lunch (not included)

1 - 2.45pm - Afternoon activities at venue

4pm - Boat trip with Dolphin Spirit Inverness (Meet at 4pm at the marina. The boat trip is from 4 - 6pm)

Attendees must attend the entire day event to take part in the boat trip. We would recommend sensible foot wear and warm clothes for people who want to stand/sit outside on the boat, but there is an inside cabin too.

Lunch will not be provided - please bring a packed lunch or explore lunch options locally. There will be an hour break for lunch.
