Voice Down The Rabbit Hole (Exhibition Opening)

🐇Voices Down The Rabbit Hole is an art exhibition by Hong Kong artist Miss Bunny, inspired by the timeless narrative of Watership Down by Richard Adams. Through this project, Miss Bunny seeks to explore the profound connections between Adams' story of a group of rabbits struggling to survive and the contemporary socio-political struggles of Hong Kong.

In this exhibition, a series of rabbit illustrations, uses the journey of Adams’ characters as a metaphor, drawing parallels to the experiences of Hong Kong citizens as they face their own battles to preserve cultural identity, autonomy, and the environment.

By blending visual art, literary references, and social commentary, Voices Down The Rabbit Hole fosters a dialogue between these two seemingly distant narratives. It invites viewers to reflect on the universal themes of home, freedom, and the quiet courage needed to protect what is most precious. In doing so, the exhibition provides not only an artistic exploration of these themes but also a deeper understanding of the complexities faced by different societies in their quest for survival and self-determination.
