Meet Your Hosts
Mike Gerdwagen
Mike Gerdwagen has been performing improv for nearly three decades, turning a love for theatre games into a lifelong creative pursuit. He served as president of his high school drama club before co-producing and directing the improv troupe On The Spot at Northern Michigan University, where he earned his theatre degree.
After returning to Los Angeles, Mike trained and performed with renowned improv institutions including The Groundlings, Second City Hollywood, and iO West. He performed with Mission Improvable at Westside Comedy Theater and collaborated with numerous improv productions and touring companies throughout his career.
Now based in Las Vegas, Mike performs with ComedySportz Las Vegas and continues to bring his passion for improv to live shows, festivals, tours, corporate events, and educational workshops.
Mike is especially known for his love of gibberish, detailed space work, and Shakespeare-inspired comedy. His Shakespearean adaptation of Reservoir Dogs will be featured this June in the Fallout Fringe Festival.
Melodie Maynor (Voice Acting institute - HUB Captain)
I’m an Air Force retiree turned voice actor who has proudly called Las Vegas home for over 20 years.
My work includes projects for SiriusXM/Pandora, Hilton, and a variety of companies ranging from major brands to independent businesses across the country. Alongside voice acting, I’m also part of a growing Creative Hub network focused on building stronger creative communities within the entertainment industry.
One of my favorite parts of hosting workshops and events like this is meeting new people, building meaningful creative connections, and helping others step more confidently into their creativity.
We’re excited to welcome you into this experience and can’t wait to create with you.
