Learn the techniques of areola nipple tattooing—known today as 3D Areola or Areola Repigmentation. This course will allow you to help cancer survivors who have undergone surgery by restoring the physical appearance of their breasts through micropigmentation. Being able to offer this treatment can be a very rewarding experience.

Course Description:

MicroBladers Founder & Master Artist, Danielle Greisen will teach you the how create a realistic representation of an areola with exquisite details. She will explain all the ins & outs form types of breast cancer, Breast anatomy, case studies with healed results, product recommendations, and more. Students attending will experience the viewing of a live model demonstration to see the finishing touch to Areola Reconstruction.

What is Areola Restoration?

Areola Restoration is a specialized type of paramedical tattooing. It is also known as, Areola Reconstruction, Areola Cosmetic Tattooing and Areola Micropigmentation. This procedure requires specialized training and tools as well as patience and experience. The procedure is often used following mastectomy surgery to restore the breast to a pre-surgical appearance. It is often instrumental in achieving a positive outcome for the patient and improved self-esteem. It is used on both women and men who have undergone breast surgery. Areola Restoration techniques can reproduce an areola after breast reconstruction, minimize scars and restore a more natural shape and color.

How much can I earn as an Artist?

Artist are charging anywhere from $400+ per treatment for 3D Areola Restoration services. Experience and location play a factor; however, each client is special and have their own imperfections. If you begin charging $400+ per treatment, and let’s say you have 2-3 client per week, that’s $1200/week in addition to your other services.

Class Overview:

It is Student’s responsibility to investigate all licensing, insurance and other state and local requirements for the practice of permanent cosmetics in the area in which he or she intends to work. Current Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) Certificate required to participate in training with live models. Training is held in Las Vegas, NV at MicroBladers Studio + Academy.

Deposit of $500 is due at the time of registration to lock your spot, and $2,700 will be due on or before the first day of class. This will be a small class to ensure that everyone is grasping the concept and getting the attention that they deserve. Day 1 will consist of online learning which can be completed in the comforts of your own home. Day 2 and Day 3 will consist of in-person and hand-on classroom hours approx. from 9AM - 4PM each day. An "optional" 4th day is recommended for out-of-state trainings (fees apply). Lunch will be provided (please inform the instructor of any special diets or allergies). Students will receive a Certificate of Completion in The Advanced Application of 3D Areola Restoration.

Former student discounts don't apply to areola training certifications. Out of state travel trainings require daily per diem and any associated travel expenses i.e., airfare, car rental, accomodations. If you are local you are required to provide your own models, otherwise a model cannot be guaranteed. A fee of $200 will be applied when a live model is secured behalf of the student.
