This new monthly class is all about Vocal Discovery. We begin with gentle physical and vocal warm ups and then explore various forms of collaborative singing, from close harmony singing, improvisational singing and specific singing styles, whilst building community and offering the singing balm we all desire. At the end of each class participants will be guided through a short centering meditation to ground their experience. No previous singing experience needed, ALL levels, ages, genders are welcome to join. Early Bird is $20 through 5/20 and regular tickets are $30.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing you can move in, bring a journal or notepad to write or draw in and water to drink. Please stay home if you have a cough or any symptoms of illness, we want to make this a safe space for everyone. Thank you!
Julia Norton has always been driven by a deep understanding that the singing voice is not just about sounding ‘pretty’, it’s about communicating deep emotions and connecting with others, whilst also connecting to the core of who we truly are.

Combining solid vocal technique, gentle movement, active imagination, shadow work and play, Julia’s mission is to help people uncover the power, authenticity, and joy in their voice. To transform the stories that might be holding them back, and to build community through collaborative singing and play.
She has been singing and studying voice her whole life, but completed an MA in Voice Movement Therapy in 2000 and has been a registered Voice Movement Therapy practitioner for over 25 years. She is also an award winning singer, voice actor and a certified Jungian Coach.
