Vlasic Classic Tecmo Super Bowl Tournament

The Vlasic Classic is Montana's premier Tecmo Super Bowl tournament, contested entirely on vintage Nintendo equipment with the endorsement of former NFL quarterback, Tecmo Super Bowl character, and all-around great guy Mark Vlasic. Join us for an afternoon of food, drink, and classic Nintendo gridiron battle at the Eagles Lodge in Missoula. The action kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 1. Recreational Division Added for 2025

• New this year, we have added a divison for recreational players! Perfect for kids and adults who are newer to the game. $100 grand prize for the winner of the Recreational Division.
• Note: Recreational Division winner is required to enter the Competitive Division in the next Vlasic Classic event.

Format

• Three games of pool play followed by a double-elimination tournament

Other Info

• Pizza and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided – we will have access to the Eagles bar as well.
• Each contestant will be issued a pre-inspected controller and will use that controller throughout the event.
• The event will be governed by the Vlasic Classic tournament charter available at vlasicclassic.org.
• Competitive Division contestants will receive trophies for 1st-4th place. Competitive Division winner receives $250 grand prize.
