The work and projects I undertake have always been rooted in the belief that storytelling can heal, challenge, and connect us. From my earliest performances in childhood church pageants to my work with theaters across Michigan, the stage has remained a place where truth can be spoken and hearts can be opened.
Hence the birth of ,The Rhythm of the Voice presents
Vivian's Song! In honor of National Caregiver Month, the play highlights the heavy emotional, physical, and mental demands placed on caregivers, while celebrating their strength and dedication.
The talk back period immediately following the Matinee will allow the audience an opportunity to meet the cast and some community organizations with information and resources regarding trauma recovery and building resilience. Highlighting our continued need for Mental Health Awareness and the importance of healing.
Free People Free Other People Cultural Foundation is a grass roots 501c3 Non Profit founded by myself and a small group of folk with a shared vision.
