The Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso, Destination El Paso and the City of El Paso cordially invite the binational community of the Paso del Norte region to join the most vibrant cross-border celebration of the year: ¡Vivamos México!
¡Vivamos México! is a free, family-friendly event open to the entire community, honoring our shared history, culture, and traditions taking place on Saturday, September 12, from 5-11 PM at the El Paso Convention Center Plaza, in the heart of downtown.
The evening will feature a wide array of cultural entertainment for all ages, including:
- Official Grito de Independencia Ceremony: Led by the Banda de Guerra and Escolta from the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Juárez.
- Lucha Libre
- Live Mariachi Music
- Local Talent Performances
- Food Trucks, Artisanal Crafts Market, and Kids' Zone
