Join the Mexican community and friends to experience and celebrate Mexican music, dance, culture, food, festivities and fun for all family.
The Mexican Independence Day, Viva Mexico Festival is on Saturday 6th of September from 2pm.
Private room in The Botanic Inn, 23-27 Malone Road, Belfast.
2-4:00 pm ┃KIDS CRAFTS, FACE PAINT AND GAMES ┃ Loteria and exciting workshop where children and adults can unleash their artistic talents through various activities like painting, crafting, and more. We are having face painting for all! Fancy a luchador face?
DID YOU KNOW ┃We will have different tables with info, maps and interesting facts about Mexico.
4:00-5:00 pm ┃PIÑATA AND KIDS DISCO ┃Get ready to groove on the dance floor.
FOOD ┃ Selling home made and real Mexican food by El Antojo Dublin, Elso Casa, Balam, Musho Picoso, El Huastecan, and more Please, bring cash
5:30 pm | TRADITIONAL FOLKLORIC DANCE AND MARIACHI ┃ Jenny Santana will host the independence “Grito”, followed performance by Mexican Dance Belfast company by Mayte Segura and then Mariachi San Patricio will play.
7pm-1am ┃DANCE & MUSIC ┃ Reggaeton, Salsa, Cumbia, Ranchera… Just Latin music all night long. Bring your dancing shoes and your best moves!
Children can stay until 8 pm, from 8pm onwards 18+.
Ticket £20 including a welcome drink (Corona or soft drink) and all activities. Kids are free but must select a ticket for the activities.

2-4:00 pm ┃MANUALIDADES, PINTA CARAS Y JUEGOS ┃ Lotería y divertido taller de manualidades con tema mexicano para niños y adultos. Pinta caras, que tal una mascara de luchador?
SABIAS QUE? ┃Habrá mesas con información, mapas y datos interesantes acerca de México.
4:00-5:00 pm ┃DISCO PARA NIÑOS Y PIÑATA ┃Excelente para que los niños saquen su corazón latino.
COMIDA ┃ Venta de comida casera mexicana por El Antojo Dublin, Elso Casa, Balam, Musho Picoso, El Huastecan y mas. Favor de traer efectivo.
5:30 pm | BAILE FOLKLORICO Y MARIACHI ┃ Jenny Santana dará el grito de independencia seguido performance de la compañía Mexican Dance Belfast de Mayte Segura y cerrando con el Mariachi San Patricio.
7pm-1am ┃BAILE Y MúSICA ┃ Reggaeton, Salsa, Cumbia, Ranchera… Sólo música latina toda la noche.
Los niños pueden estar hasta las 8 pm, de 8pm en adelante, sólo 18+.
Boleto £20 incluye una bebida de bienvenida (Corona o refresco) y todas las actividades. Los niños son gratis pero deben seleccionar un boleto.
