We are very pleased to announce the date for the 3rd year of the Viva La Bachata Cup to be held at La Bodega on Saturday 27th February 2027. We will be celebrating Dominican Independence Day with La Fiesta social dancing as well as this amazing competition.
Those who had attended Viva La Bachata Cup in the past would remember how much fun it was, the competition, the singing, the dancing, the party, the incredible Caribbean vibes right here in Melbourne. Mark in your calendar, you do not want to miss this event.
The Bachata social dancing competition will start in the early evening from 6:30pm with lots of social dancing throughout the night's party.
The competition process we introduced is like how it is competed in the Dominican Republic. It is different from Jack and Jill competition. You will be dancing with your chosen/agreed dance partner with random selected bachata music. Public transport via trams 96 or 16 stop at Jacka Boulevard, tram 12 stop at Fitzroy Street.
