Join us for the ninth IGDA Toronto event of 2026!
A special event in partnership with George Brown Polytechnic.
Schedule:
- At 7 pm, panel at George Brown Polytechnic Waterfront, Room 240 (auditorium)
- At 8:30 pm, our traditional Meet & Mingle at Great Lakes Brewpub.
- Visual Development in Game Design
A panel discussion exploring visual development and its effect on gameplay, marketing, and storytelling. Moderated by Gavin McCarthy.
Speakers:
- David Hellman - Visual artist and developer whose credits include Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Braid
- Lynds Gallant - Freelance Art Director, Design Director, and CCO with 15 years of game industry experience, previously working on the Innovation team at Sony Interactive, and defining visual standards for XR at absurd:joy.
- Mike Lambert – Art Director at 13AM Games. Works include Dungeon Lurker, Dawn of the Monsters!
Moderator:
- Gavin McCarthy - Artist, game developer, and organizer of the recent Art Of The Concept gallery show. Projects include Way of the Passive Fist, Alone With You, and Bendy And The Ink Machine.
