Visual Art Inspires Verse: An Ekphrastic Poetry Event

Join us for an evening where visual art and poetry come together. Five local poets will each select a work of art from Madison Art Market and create an original poem inspired by that piece. During the reading, poets will share both the artwork that sparked their imagination and the poem it inspired.
Experience how a single work of art can be transformed into story, emotion, and verse through the unique perspective of each writer.
