Originally from California, Nina lives in Iowa City and is the founder and publisher of Brink, a literary journal dedicated to hybrid and cross-genre writing. She serves as the Literary Programming Director for the Mission Creek Festival, an annual immersive music and literature festival honoring independent expression. A 2023 Iowa Artist Fellow, her writing has been supported by The Vermont Studio Center, The Sewanee Writers Conference, and The Iowa Arts Council.
