Andrii Isakov, Ukrainian violinist and Ohio-based associate professor, has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has appeared with prestigious ensembles, including the National Ukrainian Philharmonic and Lviv Symphony Orchestra, and collaborated with artists such as the Ying Quartet and Ayano Ninomiya.
A laureate of numerous international competitions, Mr. Isakov has won the North Shore Music Award and multiple concerto competitions. Passionate about teaching, he serves on the faculties of the Starling Preparatory String Project, Cremona International Music Academy, and is the founder of the Fiorito International Music Festival & Competition.
Mr. Isakov holds a master’s and doctorate (ABD) from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a bachelor’s from Roosevelt University.
Li Wang, Piano
Born in Inner Mongolia, China, pianist Li Wang is an accomplished soloist, chamber musician, and educator. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Cincinnati (CCM) with a full scholarship, studying under James Tocco. Wang has performed in major venues across China, the U.S., and Europe, including the National Centre for Performing Arts (Beijing), Chicago Cultural Center, and Cremona City Music Hall.
A prizewinner of numerous competitions, including the Clamo International Piano Competition and Wideman International Piano Competition, she has also performed as a soloist with the China Opera and Dance Drama Symphony Orchestra. An active chamber musician, Wang has collaborated with Kurt Sassmannshaus, Yehuda Hanani, and Richard Hirschl. She frequently performs as a duo with her husband, violinist Andrii Isakov, touring internationally.
As an educator, Wang serves on the faculty of the Cremona International Music Academy and Berkshire High Peaks Festival and is a jury member for the Cremona International Music Competition.
