Hello everyone,Our upcoming workshop is with special guest from Germany, Professor Ruben from Escola popular de Capoeira Angola. Who does not know Ruben yet, check it out his Bio. 👇🏽
Ruben began his Capoeira journey at a young age, teaching himself through workshops and cassette tapes. Capoeira became central to his life, helping him build confidence and identity as a bPOC. He later discovered Capoeira Angola and found a mentor in Mestre Laercio. Through trips to Brazil and meeting other masters, he deepened his knowledge. Ruben now Capoeira in Halle, focusing on working with children and fostering community. Capoeira is more than just an art form to him; it is his identity, home, and a source of longing in motion.
It will be an afternoon of Capoeira Angola movements class, music session and Roda. 😃
