About this Event
Join us for a special MLK Day twist on Vision and Vibes, a creative and reflective gathering honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event is a prelude to the People’s March, celebrating creativity, unity, and the power of collective action.
Participants will have the opportunity to create their own vision boards or design March posters to carry during the People’s March the following day. As we craft, we’ll reflect on what MLK’s dream of justice, equality, and true unity could look like in today’s world and how we can bring it to life in our personal journeys and communities.
The event features three 1 hour &15 minute creative sessions, giving participants ample time to craft, connect, and discuss. The evening will close with an inspiring open mic session where reflections, stories, and creative expressions about the People’s March and Dr. King’s vision can be shared.
To add to the atmosphere, enjoy a thoughtfully curated s’mores bar with vegan options and cozy up by the bonfire. This is a space for self-reflection, community connection, and imagining what a better tomorrow could look like.
This gathering is not only a chance to honor Dr. King’s legacy but also to prepare for the important work and collective action of the People’s March.
