Vision and Hearing Testing and Vaccine Clinic

Maine Township is hosting a Vision, Hearing and Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Maine Township Town Hall, 1700 Ballard Rd. in Park Ridge. The Flu, COVID-19, Shingles, RSV, Pneumonia, Hepatitis B, and Tdap vaccines are scheduled to be available.
The vaccines are provided and administered by Jewel-Osco and the event is co-sponsored by the Niles Lions Club. This is a walk-in clinic, and no pre-registration is required. Residents are reminded to bring their health insurance card if they plan to receive any vaccines. There are no costs for the vision and hearing screenings for residents.

The Township encourages people with questions about the health benefits and impacts of vaccines, or with questions about which vaccines and screenings might be right for them, to consult with their primary care physician prior to the event.
