Visible Green Home® Burh Becc at Beacon Springs Earth Day Celebration Tour

In celebration of Earth Day 2026, we will be opening up the most world-changing sustainable home we've ever created: Burh Becc at Beacon Springs. This home was the second single-family residence in the entire world to have attained full Living certification under the International Living Future's Living Building Challenge program. What does that mean? Net Zero Energy; Net Zero Water; Net Zero Waste and 'Red List' free, ultra-healthy components and Indoor Air Quality. Essentially a home that is designed as nature would design a home. You will have an opportunity to visit this extraordinary home, in-person, with a live guided experience on Saturday, April 25th, at one of five offered tour times. In these uncertain and challenging times we are facing, come be inspired by a high-performance; ultra-sustainable and healthy; safe, secure and resilient, accessible and designed for aging-in-place ;and completely energy-free home for the ultimate level of passive survivability. One that met "the Living Building Challenge"!

Each tour segment will consist of two components: 50 minutes for the guided experience and 40 minutes for you to ask questions and discuss your own project with the AR Team. Please note that this event is specifically intended for attendees who are interested in creating a green/high-performance/sustainable/energy efficient/resilient new home and/or remodel of their own. If that is not your interest, we recommend not registering for this particular event and leaving the limited spaces on the five tours for others who do have that interest. We will have other events more geared toward general education and awareness. Thank you for your kind understanding.

9:00 am; 10:30 am; 12:00 noon; 1:30 pm; 3:00 pm

Tours will be limited to a maximum of 25 attendees to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable and safe environment for all. Please arrive early as all tours will begin promptly at the specific tour time.
