Steamboat Ski Resort is proud to host the Visa Big Air presented by Toyota from Dec. 11-13. This is the second time Steamboat has hosted this event and will be the first qualifying event for the Stifel U.S. Freeski Team and the Hydro Flask U.S. Snowboard Team ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina. The venue is accessible on-mountain for skiers and snowboarders and is located in the Park Smalley Freestyle Complex adjacent to Vogue. Saturday, December 13 • 3:45–6:30 PM in Steamboat Square the excitement continues with the Sun Cruiser's Free Concert featuring with The Motet, sensory delight with a Balloon Glow and U.S. Team Athlete Autograph Session.
3:45 PM – The Motet takes the Steamboat Stage. With 26 years, nine albums, and over a thousand shows behind them, the genre-bending group brings their signature energy and powerful new lead vocalist, Sarah Clarke, for a performance that’s as fiery as ever.
5:30 PM - 6:30PM- autograph session with participating U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes. Guests have the chance to meet the athletes, celebrate the competition, and have a complimentary event poster signed as a keepsake.
5:30 - 6:30PM - Cap off Visa Big Air finals with an evening hot air balloon glow in Steamboat Square. As the sun sets, hot air balloons will light their flames to illuminate the square. Guests can stroll among the balloons or take in the views inside either The Range or Timber and Torch.
Timber & Torch and The Range will be open throughout the evening. Guests have the chance to warm up by the fire, enjoy dinner and drinks, and soak in the festivities as we close out Visa Big Air World Cup in style.
