Join us for an intimate afternoon of familiar flavours and meaningful conversations.

This time, we're bringing Virunnu Vol. 4 to London.

Virunnu is a feast made for gathering, a meal that unfolds slowly and brings people together around good food and shared stories. This edition celebrates Pothichoru, Kerala's beloved banana-leaf tiffin meal. "Pothi" means wrapped and "Choru" means rice, a simple name for a tradition where rice and homemade accompaniments are packed into banana leaves and shared across generations.

We'll begin with a refreshing Nannari Sarbath and crispy Railway Cutlets (available in chicken or vegetarian options) before unwrapping our Pothichoru feast.

As each Pothichoru is wrapped in banana leaf ahead of your arrival, we'll ask you to select your preferred rice when booking. We'll also have extra rice available to enjoy with the meal.

Choose between Kerala Matta Rice, a traditional red rice with a nutty flavour, or White Rice. Your Pothichoru will be served with Omelette, Moru Kachiyathu, a seasoned yoghurt and buttermilk curry, Beetroot Thoran, a gently spiced vegetable stir-fry, Beans Mezhukkupuratti, Chammanthi, a coconut relish, Pickle, and Pappadam. The meal also includes Thattukada Chicken Fry, inspired by Kerala's roadside eateries, Prawn Roast cooked with aromatic spices, and Sambharam, a refreshing spiced buttermilk drink.

To finish, we'll serve Nei Payasam, a traditional Kerala dessert made with rice, jaggery, and ghee.

This is an intimate, seated experience designed to feel relaxed, nostalgic and unhurried.

Seats are limited to 6 guests to keep the experience cosy and intentional.
