Virtual Wards National Event

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust are delighted to be hosting a national Virtual Ward event at St James Park, home to Newcastle United Football Club, with an exciting programme of clinical and operational learning and best practice currently being delivered.

Come and join us and experience an exciting programme with a combination of clinical workshops and plenary sessions with a focus on enhancing patient care across several clinical specialities. The event will provide a timely platform to embrace innovation and share knowledge for the next steps essential for virtual wards. This will include the effective management and proof of concept using data to develop business cases. As well as opportunities to network with peers and leaders in the field.

- Clinical protocols and pathways

The event provides you with the opportunity to attend 3 clinical workshops hosted by experienced clinicians and specialists. Please note you will be required when reserving your ticket to pick your preferred sessions in the ‘add on’ section, please note these are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

A research sandpit will be hosted by colleagues from Newcastle University Population Health Sciences Institute on Wednesday 9th October 2024 in the Heroes Suite, St James’ Park 10am-4pm.

This linked event is aimed at academic and practitioner researchers who want to develop and lead or contribute to research in this area. Activities will be designed to promote connections and support the development of multi-site research grant applications.#
