VIRTUAL - FL Stormwater Inspector Training Class

NOTE: This is an ONLINE LIVE ZOOM class. You must have a webcam and speaker to participate.

This 1- and 1/2-day training covers both Tier I and Tier II requirements and will provide private and public employees with the required qualification to conduct inspections of erosion and sedimentation controls for construction sites throughout Florida. This is a very detailed course which demonstrates visual BMPs, and chemical treatment used during actual construction projects. This course covers all MS4 requirements.

*** CLASS will begin at 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Days 1 and 2; Day 2 ends at approximately 3:00 PM.

Once registered, you will receive an email approximately one week prior to class which includes documents to print out, plus a ZOOM link to attend class. Your email will be used for the Survey Monkey exam at the end of class. A closed book examination will be given at the end of class and requires a score of 70 or greater to become an inspector. You will earn CEUs/CECs/ and PDH for this class.

NOTE: DEP Official Manual (Tier I and Tier II) is not a requirement for the class, however, it is a great reference and available for download for free from the DEP website: Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training & Certification Program (fsesci.com).
