Virtual Driver Awareness Classroom Course

This highly interactive virtual classroom driver training course is a must for all drivers of any age or experience, especially those that drive as part of their work activity.

The course has been adapted to allow candidates to complete the course using video conferencing instead of attending a classroom setting.

The course aim is to update candidates’ knowledge of the Highway Code and look at the risks associated with driving for work and the consequences of failing to manage those risks. The syllabus covers key areas such as:

• Identification of speed limits
• Explaining how hazards and distractions affect driving
• The human cost of collisions
• Explore coping strategies to reduce driving risk

Learning will be consolidated via Knowledge Check Questions throughout the course.

Following successful completion of the course you will receive an e-Certificate (2-3 working days after the course).

The course will run for approximately 3 hours.

The course is carried out from your own home by logging into Zoom, an online video conferencing platform.

In order to partake in the course, you will need to download Zoom on your laptop or tablet.  A phone can be used however we recommend the use of a laptop or tablet to give you a larger screen.

Zoom is free to download at https://zoom.us/ .  You must download this well in advance of the training session.  We recommend that you test that it works on your system and that you can use video and audio. 

We will not refund anyone who does not successfully join / complete the course due to their poor connection or if either their camera or microphone are not working - these are essential requirements to be able to successfully participate in the course.

When registering with the trainer you MUST show photo ID, either your DRIVING LICENCE, TAXI LICENCE BADGE or PASSPORT. These must be the original documents and if they are not presented at registration attendance will be refused.

If you are unable to attend the course for any reason please provide at least 7 day's notice. We are unable to amend or refund any bookings after this time. Any refunds will be subject to a deduction of the Eventbrite processing fee.
