Virtual Dementia Tour

Come join us July 30th from 1-3pm at The Landings of Northport where the Area Agency on Aging of West Alabama will host a Virtual Dementia Tour.
This is an event to educate the public about dementia and what those suffering with Dementia are going through.
Participants will wear glasses (to make their vision different), wear gloves (to stop them from being able to hold things), wear earphones (to put noise in their ears), and inserts in their shoes (to stimulate pain shoes).
Then participants will be given them some tasks that they will need to complete in the room that is set up. This will have the participants experiencing what it is like to have dementia and other diagnosis that we might get when we get older.
