The Virginia Lillye Memorial & Benefit Concert will be an evening celebrating the musical life of the unforgettable Virginia Lillye who was taken away from us too soon. Performing all of Virginia’s favourite songs will be Sydney’s premier musicians of whom she has shared the stage with over the years including Peter Northcote and members of the Masala & Cokes; Raymund Shek and Funkstar; The Frankies Famous House Band and an army of her fellow singing comrades to pay tribute to this amazing woman.Also in Virginia’s honour, this concert will be a benefit night to not only raise awareness to Ovarian cancer of which she fought so hard in her last years; but to raise funds from ticket sales which will be donated to Ovarian Cancer Australia to help find an early diagnosis for this terrible disease.
