Preregistration is required though in order to attend, NO walk-ins are accepted.
Participants who successfully complete this training will receive their concealed carry training certifications for all of the following: Virginia, Florida, and Arizona Concealed Carry. All certifications for $80 total.
Classroom time will consist of learning firearms safety rules, different types of handguns, parts of a handgun, fundamentals of shooting, and disassembly/reassembly/cleaning of a handgun. We will also go over how to safely and effectively draw/re-holster. You will also learn about Virginia laws pertaining to firearms, concealed/open carry & self defense. We will also discuss how to interact with law enforcement while carrying and/or having defended yourself.
Hands-on Portion will consist of disassembling/reassembling/cleaning handguns.
**There are NO prerequisites to this training. You DO NOT need to have your own handgun. If you have your own, you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring it- but not necessary. If you need one to use, we have got you covered at no additional cost.**
Informational emails will be sent out to students on July 1st that will include the exact location details.
