VIrginia Beach CASA Fundraiser at Shadowlawn Eats

Join Virginia Beach CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) from 5-9 pm on Wednesday, June 24, for a fundraiser at Shadowlawn Eats, 918 Mediterranean Ave. in Virginia Beach. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Virginia Beach CASA, but only if you mention Virginia Beach CASA to your server.
VB CASA recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to champion the best interests of abused or neglected children in the local court system. These volunteers are members of the community who receive extensive education and training in order to advocate for abused and neglected children whose cases are before the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
CASA volunteers advocate for these children to make sure they don't get lost in an overburdened system. Their ultimate responsibility is to promote safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible. It is incredibly challenging work, but one child at a time, CASA volunteers are making a difference in our community, and most importantly, in the lives of the children they serve.
