Join us for the American Heart Association's Virginia Advocacy Day on Thursday, January 16th. It will be an action-packed day when you join us in lifting your voice for a world of longer, healthier lives.Lawmakers need to hear from you about issues like improving access to nutritious food for Virginians and ensuring cardiac emergency response plans are in place for schools and sporting events.
We'll meet at 8 a.m. at the Virginia General Assembly for a kick-off event and training where you'll learn more about the issues and how easy it will be to make an impact throughout the day. Then, you will meet with your state lawmakers and share your story of why heart health issues are important to you.
