Improv 401: The Harold (Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)

In our fourth level, we'll approach Long Form from the 16-bar blues of improv, Harold.

Over eight weeks, this course will strengthen the broad skills you have (two-person scenes, group work, playing from emotion, pattern recognition), and put it all on its feet in a longer, cohesive piece.

Dates: This class runs Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, starting January 15th and running for 8 weeks weeks. A showcase will be scheduled as an additional opportunity on an evening during the week of March 9th.

IInstructor: Ryan Dondero

Ryan Dondero has a dog and a "good attitude" (Mr. Dittenhofer, 5th grade teacher). He's from New York and lived in Los Angeles for some years before settling in Richmond in 2019. While in Los Angeles, he trained at UCB, The Pack Theater, and at the LA Fitness on Overland Avenue. He's been at Coalition since 2022 and has been having a blast. You can see him perform every other Friday in the House Special with Wolf Night, monthly with Can’t Hardly Date, and sporadically with Tote Bag. He writes for the satirical punk news website, The Hard Times.

COST: $250 (Early Bird $220)
