VIP Whiskey Tasting Experience - Friday, March 28, 2025

Select this VIP experience to enjoy before the main stroll, from 5-6pm at Dragon Rouge.

Limited to just 50 attendees, this exclusive session offers a fascinating look into Alameda’s unique role in the whiskey world. The VIP session will highlight the incredible connection between Alameda’s very own Admiral Maltings and the distilling process. Discover how Admiral Maltings contributes to the creation of many of the spirits you’ll savor throughout the evening. In addition to insights into the artistry behind the whiskey-making process, you’ll also have the opportunity to sample unique spirits from their distiller partners. This is your chance to dive deeper into Alameda’s rich whiskey connections while enjoying an intimate, educational, and flavorful start to the evening.

This $85 ticket will include a seated VIP program (from 5:15-6pm), a collectible tasting glass, premium whiskey tastings at unique downtown locations, delicious bites at some host locations prepared by local chefs and a commemorative guide. Tickets are limited, price increases to $95 after March 23rd, if not sold out.

After the VIP session join the Whiskey Stroll (6:00-9:00pm) and walk around downtown Alameda and sample whiskeys from local craft distillers.

VIP Check-in & Program: Check-in at Dragon Rouge starts at 4:45pm, programming begins at 5:15pm.

Whiskey Stroll: 6:00-9:00pm - After the VIP experience, choose your own route for visiting the downtown tasting locations.

Explore Downtown Alameda: Come early to browse the local shops or stay late to sit back and relax at a downtown restaurant or bar.

Bottle Sales: Found a new favorite? Select whiskeys will be available for purchase at CRAFT Beer & Wine -- Alameda’s premium bottle shop specializing in European wines, barrel-aged beers, and spirits.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 21 AND OVER WITH VALID ID.

This is a fundraiser event. Your ticket purchase helps keep Downtown Alameda clean, green, and safe for all to enjoy. Additionally, we're pleased to partner with the Alameda Food Bank as part of our 7th Annual Whiskey Stroll. The Alameda Food Bank helps our community by providing nourishing food to those in need in a compassionate and respectful manner. $1 from every ticket sold will go to support their vital work in our community.
