Violinist Bradley Creswick needs no introduction to North East audiences! Accompanied on piano by David Murray, the programme will feature duos from the Baroque and classical repertoire, including:
Bach: Violin Concerto in A minor
Tchaikovsky: Excerpts from the Nutcracker Suite
Rimsky Korsakov: Excerpts from Scheherazade
Vivaldi: Winter from The Four Seasons
The evening will end with Bradley’s now famous virtuosic Hungarian encores.
Both David and Bradley have performed many times at the Old Low Light over the past few years, and their pre-Christmas concert is not one to be missed. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Bradley, who lives in Whitley Bay, is an internationally acclaimed violinist and former leader and first violinist of the Royal Northern Sinfonia Orchestra (RNSO) until his retirement in 2019. He continues to perform across the world although also enjoys performing in the community, including at his local church and is known for his unique and energetic style and diverse repertoire.
David Murray, who lives in Monkseaton, has been recognised as one of the North East’s most acclaimed pianists, and is in constant demand as a soloist, accompanist and chamber music partner. He has accompanied top musicians in recitals all over the world.
