Join Violalia Duo for an afternoon of thought-provoking, whimsical, and virtuosic works for violin, viola, and electronics.
About this Event

The duo will premiere a new collaborative work based on a haunting field recording, as well as an amplified improvisation with custom-built electronics. Laura will perform Eugène Ysaÿe’s dreamlike Solo Sonata No. 5 “Aurore,” and Hannah will premiere Matthew Greenbaum's Tromba Marina for viola, electronics, and video. Rounding out the program are Masques et Berg by Stefano Gervasoni and topsy-turvy fiddle tunes by Dan Trueman and Brittany Haas.
