Vinyls n’ Blues

Tucked away in the heart of the city, Hideaway sets the scene for an evening built around records and live blues. The space does a lot of the work on its own — warm red and amber light, a vintage Hagspiel grand piano in the corner, worn leather Chesterfields, dried pampas and botanical murals across exposed brick. It’s dim, lived-in and intimate, the kind of room that suits a needle dropping onto wax and a guitar bending a note.

Across five hours, expect a rotation of vinyl selections threaded through live blues performance — crackle and warmth from the turntable, raw playing in the room. It’s a slow-burn evening rather than a big night out: somewhere to sink into a sofa, nurse a drink, and let the music lead.

Free entry, open to all. Come early to claim a good spot by the piano.
