Our 50th, yes, FIFTIETH!, Vinyl Sunday will see the return of one of our earliest champions, and very first takeover guest, Dean, who will present us with Beth Orton’s second album, Trailer Park.
Released in 1996, Trailer Park is a blend of folk, electronica and trip hop. Indeed, it was partly produced by Orton’s previous collaborator, William Orbit, who went on to produce Madonna’s hugely successful Ray of Light album.
Trailer Park was critically acclaimed and received two Brit award nominations in 1997. It cemented Orton’s name in the pantheon of modern British folk artists.
It would be great to see you to mark our half century of vinyl sessions.
