Vinyl & Vibes Junior: Design Your Own Tote Bag

About this event

Get ready for Vinyl & Vibes Junior, a fun, creative summer experience for young makers aged 8–14. Confident 7-year-olds are also welcome with parent/carer support.

This event is designed for children who love being creative, trying something new and making something they can proudly take home.

During the session, children will design and create their own personalised tote bag using vinyl, craft materials and guided support. They’ll also take part in fun craft games, enjoy dinner and dessert, win prizes, receive a certificate, and leave with a goodie bag filled with creative treats to help them continue crafting at home.

VIP Mini Maker Experience

For children who want an extra special creative experience, our VIP Mini Maker ticket includes an exclusive small-group Cricut session before the main event.

VIP guests will arrive early from 4pm–5pm and join Juliet and her crafty daughter Shan for a more intimate hands-on workshop where they will learn how to use simple Cricut features, explore basic design skills, and create a bonus mini project to take home.

During the VIP session, children will:

• Learn how designs are created using Cricut Design Space
• Explore simple fonts, shapes and layout ideas
• Create a small personalised craft project
• Enjoy a mini food platter before the main event begins
• Receive extra guidance in a calm, small-group setting

This session is perfect for children who love crafting, designing or want to build confidence using creative tools.

Spaces are extremely limited to keep the session personal and hands-on, so early booking is recommended.

General Admission

General admission starts at 5:15pm with introductions, icebreakers and craft games before the main tote bag activity begins.

Parent/Carer Information

Parents and carers are welcome to stay during the event. There will be a dedicated space where adults can relax, order delicious food and enjoy refreshing drinks while the children take part in the workshop.

This is more than just a craft session — it’s a chance for children to create, build confidence, have fun and leave feeling proud of what they made.

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. However, if you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another child. Please contact Juliet as soon as possible with the new attendee’s details, including their name, age, parent/carer contact information and allergies.

Will photos and videos be taken?
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for social media, promotional content and to capture the Vinyl & Vibes Junior experience. When booking, you will be asked whether you give permission for your child to be photographed or filmed.

If you do not want your child to appear in photos or videos, please make this clear on the booking form. You can also remind Juliet at check-in on the day. Children without photo/video permission will still be fully included in the event, but will not be intentionally photographed or filmed for promotional content.
