Vino Carta Presents: An Evening With Frenz at Golden Ghost Studios
About this Event
Vino Carta and Golden Ghost Studios invite you to be a part of the first of a series of live listening sessions featuring artists from throughout the emerging independent music scene. We kick off the series with San Diego's own music collective Frenz (and featured guests), who boast an immersive, carefully selected set of contemporary music they honor and reshape through live arrangement.
Pulling ingredients from the shelves of latin, jazz, r&b, afro and funk, Tia Mae Frostrom (keys/vocals), Jack Cattabiani (bass/vocals), Alan Mackelburg (guitar/vocals) and Rob Hammett (drums) have created a sound that feels natural: early evening jaunt down the neighborhood main drag, smoking outside the wine bar, the day's edges softened by the thought of not having any plans.
