Vinland Time Capsule Opening (details TBD)

Former students - please RSVP here if you would like to be in the know about the Time Capsule dig up celebration. The date and time has been set by current school employees, this event is a way to capture email addresses of former students so that everyone can hear of the final event schedule and details. Please share with former classmates! This is not an official event page, but a way to help the current princpal contact former students who want to attend the opening.

Details so far from Charley McCabe, our former principal:

• There will be an assembly for the end of the school day, ~3:00 on Friday, 3/13. This would be open for former students and staff to attend.
• The time capsule would be pre-excavated by district grounds crew. It's large and deep!
• Travis (current principal) said we could have school access after school if the "formers" wanted to walk around and reminisce.
• Possible after-gathering bbq on the blacktop?

Ideas from me, Kendall Rock

• Wearing uniforms would be fun
• Hiring someone in a forklift to take a group picture like we used to (do they still do this?) would be fun
