In today’s fast-paced online environment, protecting your personal information is more crucial than ever. AARP’s workshop Vigilance Against Cybercrime is designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world safely. We’ll cover how to stay safe in public, at home, when using social media and when shopping and banking. We’ll also look at common scams and how to avoid them. This workshop is part of Living Well at 50+, a four part educational series designed for older adults seeking practical, uplifting, and empowering information about healthy aging, brain wellness and financial protection. Sessions are interactive, welcoming and ideal for anyone looking to stay sharp, safe and confident.
Presented in collaboration with AARP Virginia and the Alzheimer's Association, National Capital Area Chapter, each session offers practical skills, insightful tips and community connection.
