Viewpoints & The Chairs: using space in Long-Form Improv (Brian Armstrong)

This longform workshop, led by experienced instructor Brian Armstrong, focuses on using Anne Bogart’s Six Viewpoints approach to theatre and applying it to improv.

We explore space, stage pictures, and status in order to inform our scenes. We then learn to initiate and edit scenes based on the ‘shape’ created by our partners and ourselves. No suggestions- just two actors and two chairs at a time to discover the scene hidden in plain sight.
Beginners are welcome at this class. Everything you need to know will be explained.
